MILLER, Hunter R. – of Davison, age 18, passed away January 28, 2017. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 2 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM on Tuesday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the Hunter Miller Memorial Fund.
Hunter was born in Flint, MI on January 5, 1999, son of Richard and Carol (Kirkey) Miller. Hunter was a senior at Davison High School. He loved his teachers and especially liked Dave Clifford, TJ Fischhaber, Mary Ann Stedry and principals, Sue Kenkel and Lance Harper. He enjoyed playing cards, reading and loved “Gaming.” Hunter especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Houghton Lake. He was loving, caring and enjoyed group hugs. Hunter was very funny, smart and hospitable. He was a great guy and very respectful to everyone.
Hunter is survived by his parents, Rich and Carol Miller; grandma, Rose Mary Taylor; grandpa and grandma, Lyle and Margaret Kirkey; aunt, Connie Sutherland; cousins, Alex (Rachel) Myers, Kristsen Sutherland and Larry (Gina) Kirkey; great-uncle, Bill Reed and family; his buddies, Lucas, Keck, Jay, Nap, Ben, Joseph, Alex Windle and many other friends; extended family, Thad (Tina) Simmonds and Lisa (Austin) Wright, Kevin Warren and their families. He was preceded in death by uncle, Larry Kirkey. Hunter was the best son a mom and dad could ever have, he will be deeply missed.
