Marianne J. Trzcinski, age 86, of Swartz Creek, passed peacefully at her house with family by her side on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Visitation will be held at 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Sharp Funeral Home - Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road in Swartz Creek. A Prayer Service will be held at 7pm on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Sharp Funeral Home - Miller Road Chapel. Marianne will be laid to rest at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Davison, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, Marianne’s family will be giving donations to the Library of Dieck Elementary School.
Marianne was born on April 19, 1938, in Wayne, Michigan to the late William & Agnes Brown. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Wayne and continued her education by earning a Bachelor of Art Degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1960. She proudly taught for the Swartz Creek Board of Education as an elementary teacher for 32 years, retiring in 1998. Marianne started The Retired Teachers Book & Card Club with her work colleagues, Linda, Cindy, Jane, Joany and Chris. These ladies would meet every second Monday of the month for lunch and reconvene back to their houses for book discussions, snacks and playing cards. They thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company for over 20 years.
Marianne is survived by her four loving children, Marian Trzcinski of Jackson, Michigan, John (Tamara) Trzcinski of Vernon, Michigan, Tammy (William) Trzcinski-Green of Davison, Michigan and Anthony (Claude) Trzcinski of Hillsdale, Michigan; 10 grandchildren, Thera, Jeremy, Nathan, Cheyanne, Jacob, Jennessa, Billy, Johnny, Travis and Tommy and 8 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members too numerous to list but never forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, three brothers, James, Bill and Fred Brown.
