KIRBY, FRANK – Of Beaverton, Michigan, formerly of Flint, age 70, died Sunday, October 25, 2020 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 12 noon Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Francis was born in Flint, Michigan on September 24, 1950, the son of the late Francis and Nellie Kirby.
On September 21, 1996 he married Grace Allen.
Mr. Kirby worked at the Flint Township Fire Department as a firefighter for almost 20 years.
Surviving are wife, Grace;
5 children, Wade Hamilton,
Frankie (Elaine) Kirby,
Rebecca Kirby,
Kimberly (Ryan) Ward and
Michelle Vorce;
6 grandchildren, Victoria, Ashlyn, Owen, Sierra, Michael and Justice;
2 great-grandchildren, Lena and Vidalia;
Brother, Jim (Connie) Kirby;
sister, Helen (Lawrence) Beasinger;
brother, Tim (Leanne) Kirby;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Victoria; brother, David Kirby and sister, Beverly Powell.
