Karen Jean Eschenweck
Age 71 of Montrose passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at MagnumCare of Saginaw.
A Memorial luncheon will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the Masonic Lodge in Montrose.
Karen was born on May 20, 1945 to Charles and Glendine (Millet) Stockwell. She married Lee James Eschenweck on July 6, 1962; they celebrated 54 years of marriage before he predeceased her last October.
Karen was a lifelong homemaker, and she also worked as a Teacher Aide for Flint Public Schools for many years. During her life, she enjoyed planting flowers and collecting turtles. She never passed a garage sale without stopping, and she loved camping anywhere as long as she was with family. Karen loved spending time with her family more than anything else.
Karen is survived by her children, Denise (Paul) Barnum of Grand Blanc, Lisa (Ron) Goddard of Montrose, Dennis (Amy) Eschenweck of Davison, and Joe (Wendy) Eschenweck of Otisville; her 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Leanne (Bob) Bodbyl and Deana (Roger) Miller; her brother-in-law, Mel Loll; as well as many other loving family and friends.
Karen is predeceased by her husband, Lee; her parents; her sister, Shar Loll; and her brother, Jack (Deb) Stockwell.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
