Jackson, Mr. Raymond E. age-78 passed away Monday February 20, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday February 25, 2017 from the Chapel of the Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel 3021 S. Dort Hwy. Eld. Raymond E. Jackson-Billings officiating. Family hour 12:30pm. Mr. Jackson now repose in the Chapel of the Martin J. Banks Funeral Home and may be viewed. Mr. Raymond Eugene Jackson was born March 20, 1938 in Monroe, Louisiana the son of H.B. (Vivian Billings) Jackson. He was a truck driver and enjoyed fishing, chess, dominos and was an avid reader of James Patterson’s Novels. Mr. Jackson was a twice a champion of Golden Gloves in the mid 1950’s. He leaves to cherish his memory 2 daughters Stephanie Jackson-Hartfield and Lisa Jackson, 2 sons Raymond E. Jackson-Billings and Kameron (Charlotte) Williams, 9 grandchildren Montell and Jerome Hartfield, Kadaya and Kameron Williams, Keno Allen, Jr., Raymeon Billings, Au’Misha Evans, Kevin Lee and Tomilus Williams all of Flint. 6 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters Charlotte Billings of Flint, Brenda (Malcolm) Brown-Fizer of Southfield, Mi. and Phyllis McBride of Douglasville, Ga. 2 brothers J.W. and Carlton Billings both of Flint. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including special friend and companion of 30yrs. Paula Cox. Special thanks to all who cared for him especially the staff at Genesys regional Medical Center. |
