Karkoski, Daisy of Flint age 93 died Oct. 29, 2013 at McLaren Flint. Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, Nov. 2 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church 2143 S. Center Rd. Burton, MI. Fr. Matthew Butrie officiating. Burial in St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery. Family will receive visitors Friday, Nov. 1, from 12-8 pm at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint. A 7 pm Parastas service will be held Friday evening. Daisy will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10 am until time of service. Daisy retired from AC Sparkplug after 32 years of service and she was a loyal congregant of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. She is survived by sons Paul and Theodore; grandchildren Crystal, Corrin and Rachel, sister Josephine Baker and many nieces and nephews. Daisy was preceded in death by her husband Edward A. August 24, 1985, parents, 5 sisters and 1 brother. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Cemetery Fund. |
