ALLISON, William F. "Bill"– of Clio, age 71, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Genesys Hospice in Goodrich. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Clarence Lewis officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-9PM and Saturday from 1PM until the time of service at 3 PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
William was born November 6, 1941 in Flint to the late Floyd and Marie (Brabbs) Allison. He married Reba Jeffers in 1963, they divorced; he then married Darla Tauch, she preceded him in death in 2001. Bill served in the U.S Marine Corps. He retired in 2002 from Consumers Energy after 36 years of service. Bill was a member of the Clio Eagles #3609, and the Interlachen Eagles #3822. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are: daughter, Sheryl Laatz (fiancé Greg) of Vinemont, AL; grandson, Charles Laatz; brother, Robert "Bob" Allison of Mt. Morris; aunt, Lois Brabbs of TX; and many other family members. Please sign our guest book or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
