MICHAEL, M.C. “Alabam” – of Davison, age 84, passed away August 14, 2017 surrounded by his family. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Friday, August 18, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. William C. Bramlet officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Thursday and 12 PM until time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hurley Medical Center ICU 4 W.
M.C. was born in Tishomingo County, MS on October 7, 1932, son of the late Houston and Josephine (Whisenhunt) Michael. He loved his grandchildren and NASCAR. M.C. was an avid hunter.
M.C. is survived by his sons, Steven Michael, Charles (Kathy) Michael, Douglas (Sheila) Michael and Kirk Michael; daughter, Tina (Don) Scott; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, James (MaryJo) Michael, Cecil Michael and Fayrene (Bill) Hensley; special friend, Jim Ritchie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Vonnie Michael; four brothers, three sisters; sister-in-law, Shirley and longtime girlfriend, Pat Tocarchick.
