CURRY, Tolby, Jr. - age 76, of Fenton, died Monday, February 15, 2016 in North Port, Florida. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, February 22, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral homes. Memorial contributions may be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (afsp.org). Mr. Curry was born February 6, 1940 in Rockhouse, KY, the son of William Tolby and Minnie (Goff) Curry. Mr. Curry married Carol Billmeier. He retired from Textron (Fenton Heading) after 30 years of service. Mr. Curry loved baseball and was a little league coach for his sons teams for 14 years. He also loved boating and traveling. Surviving are: wife, Carol; four children, Michael Curry and Ricky (Lisa) Curry of Sedalia, KY, Timothy (Ilona) Curry of Grand Blanc and Jamie Curry of Fenton; daughter-in-law, Terri Curry; 10 grandchildren, Aliza Grace, Faith, Ryan, Michael Thomas, Curtis, Alicia, Kelsey, Harlie, Madison, and Brandon; many great grandchildren; brother, Billie Joe (Millie) Curry; four sisters, Sharon Kay (Monroe) Justice, Alice (Layton) Pinson, Gladys (J.K.) Young, Nolice Curry; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his parents-in-law, Arnold and Hilda Billmeier; son, Gregory Allen Curry; four brothers, Carl, Jim, Bob and Fred Curry; sister, Eleanor Holmes.
