Elma Jean Harris 62 years of age transitioned peacefully in her home on 04/14/2017. Elma was born March 26, 1955 in Saginaw MI. She was a graduate of Saginaw High School class of 1973. She recently retired from Meijer Inc. where she had been employed for 30 years. Elma was an avid reader with a warm, friendly personality and was loved by all. Elma is survived by her loving and devoted son Erik D. Buckley, sisters Annie (Velton) Lowery and JoeAnn (Joe) Jackson; nieces Lisa (Jeffery) Taylor and LaTasha (Mercer) Johnson; nephews Derek (Alma) Lowery, Curtis (Wanda) Morris, John (Karen) McCall and her "very special nephew" Daryl Bond; aunt Hattie Doxie: uncle Matthew D. Harris along with grandnieces grandnephews, many cousins and dear friends. Elma was preceded in death by her parents Elmore and Ella Harris and sisters Carrie Bland and Dorothy McCall.
