MINGE, Leah R. - Hibbs. - of Clio, age 82, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 6PM until 8PM and Tuesday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio.
Leah was born May 26, 1935 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Victor and Lina (Nicander) Lake. She married Paul Edward Hibbs Sr., on September 1, 1956. He preceded her in death June 3, 1988. Leah later married Bobie L. Minge on June 21, 1997. He preceded her in death September 6, 2014. She was a Registered Nurse for many years. Leah was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading, fishing, sewing, hunting, and camping.
Surviving are: Children: Beverly Hibbs, Paul (Ginger) Hibbs Jr., Cleon (Janna) Hibbs, Gary (Denise) Hibbs, Joe (Suzanne) Hibbs, Tim (Kim) Hibbs, and Susan Hibbs; Stepchildren: Tim (Sandy) Minge, and Shari (Randy) Conquest; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; Brother, Paul Lake; Sisters: Linda Becker, and Lorraine Bates; Many nieces and nephews. Leah was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer Hibbs; Brothers: Victor and Bob Lake; Aunt, Leah Kemp.
