KIMBALL, Clifford “Kipp” , 89, of Palmetto, Florida passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Bradenton, Florida. Kipp is survived by his loving wife Diana Kimball, his sons, Oren, Larry (Marina) and Paul (Susan) Kimball, his daughter, Denise Edwards, his step sons, Mark and Rick Wells, step daughter, Brenda Richter, 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.
Kipp was born on December 28, 1926 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Clifford and Helena Kimball. A proud veteran, he served in the US Army during World War II. After returning from WWII, he began his 60+ year career as an entrepreneur and small business owner. Throughout the 1960-70’s, Kipp thrived as both a real estate developer and barbershop owner in the Flint area. For the past 38 years, Kipp owned and operated Kipp’s Barbershop in Bradenton, FL.
A proud Mason, Kipp also had a passion for fitness, boxing, and most importantly, spending time with his large family of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition, Kipp and his wife Diana, have been active members of the Glad Tidings Tabernacle in Flint for many years where together they rejoiced in the Lord and his blessings.
A Visitation for Kipp will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Hill Funeral Home located 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. A Funeral Service Celebrating Kipp's Life will take place Thursday May 5 2016 at 11:00 a.m., burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Please join the family at Glad Tidings Tabernacle for a luncheon.
