NORD, Alan Thomas - Age 63, of Flint, died Thursday January 23, 2020. A celebration of life will be held, 3PM Saturday February 1 at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 14046 North Saginaw Rd, Clio. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Alan was born November 3, 1956 in Flint, the son of Philip John and Lillian (Niec) Nord. He Married Janice Hope in 1997 and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2014. Alan enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and worked for Four Seasons Maintenance Inc., of Burton for 20 plus years. Surviving are: children, Janelle LeGrande of Fenton, Jason (Donna) Nord of Flint, Jessica Nord of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Wesley, Shayla, Jadon, Kya, Nevaeh, Haydon, Skylar, Aleyonna, Aubree, Serenity, Paislee-Mae. He is also survived by his mother, Lillian Nord of Flushing; brother, Michael Nord of Millington; sisters, Laura Major of Flushing, Lynn O'Connor of Flushing; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip John Nord; son, Phillip John Nord and brother, Phillip John Nord. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
