McPherson, Sue of Flushing, age 56, died Sunday, September 14, 2014, at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2014, at Rossell Funeral Home. Dr. Larry Nagengast will officiate. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until time of service. If desired, memorial contributions may be to Gift of Life.
Sue was born in Flint, MI on January 6, 1958, the daughter of Allen C. and Dora (Sparks) Lincoln. She married Scot A. McPherson in Flushing on June 20, 1981. She was a 1976 graduate of Flushing High School. Mrs. McPherson was a former member of the Faith Baptist Church of Davison and a current member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Flushing. She was involved in the Faith Baptist School ministry for many years. Sue enjoyed painting, crocheting, Sudoku and word puzzles. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sue is survived by her husband, Scot; son, Benjamin and wife Tiffany McPherson; two grandsons, Sean and Zachary; brother, Gerald Lincoln; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dallas. |
