Katherine Louise Fischer (nee McCracken), age 83 of Grand Blanc died January 8, 2018. She was born in Detroit, MI on September 19, 1934, the daughter of Joseph and Marguerite McCracken. She graduated from Denby High School in Detroit and married Dale A. Fischer on December 27, 1956 in Detroit before they moved to Grand Blanc in 1961. He preceded her in death in 2002. Kathy loved her family, traveling with her husband and the many trips to casinos nationwide, cats, bingo and her favorite treat, chocolate. Recently, she enjoyed her many new friends and time at Brookdale, Grand Blanc. Surviving are (3) children, Scott (Debbie) Fischer of Holly, Daryl (Jeannie) Fischer of Flushing, and Ellen Goodman of Grand Blanc.; (5) grandchildren Christopher, Shauna, Stephanie, Justin, and Dalton; sisters Marilyn, Noreen, sister-in-law Linda and she was preceded in death by her sister Delores. The family would like to kindly thank and show our gratitude to the care workers and staff at Brookdale, Grand Blanc for their love and kindness shared with our mother during her stay there.
