PRATT, ALICE age 87, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Genesys Regional Medical Center. Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 24, 2014 at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 9020 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Rev. George L. Cleaves Rector officiating. Family will receive visitors Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Alice was born January 7, 1927 in Goodrich, MI. to parents Perry and Minnie (Morrish) Dodge. She was a member of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, the U.S. Sub Vets of WW II auxiliary, the White Shrine of Jerusalem and had hosted four international exchange students. She retired as a secretary, from Atherton School in 1985 after 21 years of service. She loved spending time with her family. Surviving are husband Cecil of 68 years, married March 22, 1947; children Lawrence (Kathy) Pratt, Margaret (Ron) Ingram, Carol (Michael) Shields, Christine Mandock, Mary Ann (Dan) Pratt; grandchildren Amy, Jonathan, Sarah, Matthew, Kathryn, Brian, Jane, Julia, Andrew, Tara, Adam, Justin; 21 great-grandchildren and 3 on the way; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers John and Charles Edwin Dodge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shrine Hospitals For Children.
