VERHEYN, Madeline Rose – of Flint, age 80, passed away February 14, 2015 at Melody Brookwood Care Home. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 4 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Madeline was born in Pittsfield, MA on April 14, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Carnevale) Driscoll. She married Donald Verheyn on November 7, 1953 in Pittsfield, MA and preceded her in death in 2014.
Madeline is survived by two daughters, Peggy Walt and Karen (Mike) Crittenden; grandchildren, Jacob and Claire Walt, Jodi and Kurtis Sturk and Katelyn Crittenden. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Melody Brookwood Care Home.
