BOYER, Clarence “Ralph” – age 103 of Flint, MI passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Prestige Point in Grand Blanc, MI. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 5PM-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11AM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. Rev. Jeremy Peters officiating. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park. Ralph was born on July 14, 1913 in Flint, MI to the late Resin and Bertha (Jordan) Boyer. He graduated from Central High School in 1931. Ralph served his country in the United States Army from 1943-1946. He married Olive “Elena” Hurd in Pontiac, MI on August 24, 1933. He worked for many years as an insurance agent for Ohio National Life Insurance. Ralph was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #174, Breakfast Optimist Club, hosting the Canusa games participants. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golfing. Surviving are his daughter, Lynda (Dennis) Oros; granddaughter, Meghan Oros, and many other family members. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Olive “Elena” Boyer; brother, Elwood Boyer; and sister-in-law, Edith Boyer.
