SOVIS-VanNATTER, Ann Marie -- Age 73, of Swartz Creek, died August 24, 2012 at her residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, August 27 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek, Fr. Dan Kogut celebrant. Interment in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Saturday, 1-5 and 7-9 PM Sunday, with a 7 PM Rosary Sunday evening. Visitation Monday will be at the church from 10 AM until the time of mass. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Ann was born April 3, 1939 in Swartz Creek the daughter of Paul and Marie Jagos. She was married to Ben Sovis and he preceded her in death Janury 19, 1977. She was then maried to Irving VanNatter and he preceded her in death May 5, 2000.
Ann worked for Genesee Bank in Swartz Creek as a teller for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angles Catholic Church.
Surviving are: three children, Frank and wife Susan Sovis of Northville, Julie and husband Allen Thompson of Wilmington, OH, Brian and wife Karen Sovis of Detroit; eight grandchildren, Francesca, Benjamin, Nikolas, Dominique, Ryan, Kari, Kristen, and Kelli; great-grandson Ryan Jr. She was also preceded in death by her parernts; brother, Anthony Jagos; and sister Mary Lajza.
