O’HARRIS, Lyle Everett – of Davison, age 89, passed away September 14, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living. A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held 2PM Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Chaplain Tina Koon officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 2-8PM Friday. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, Gentiva Hospice or the charity of one’s choice.

Lyle was born in Flint, MI on July 6, 1926, son of the late Lon and Mabel (Stenabaugh) O’Harris. He married Agnes Thomas on November 8, 1986 in Chesapeake, VA. Lyle was a WWII veteran for the Marines as a Military Police Sergeant, participating in the occupation of China and Okinawa. He was a loving father of five and grandfather of eight and enjoyed his family. Lyle was always ready with a smile and a laugh. He was hardworking, loyal to a fault, and disciplined. Lyle enjoyed traveling and loved golf.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Agnes; children, Robin Konieczka (Jim), Debbie Reed (J.D.), Michael E. O’Harris, Patrick L. O’Harris (Ann), Pamela Russell (Marty); grandchildren, Corey Konieczka, Jenny (Andy) VonFintel, Amanda (Mike) Alfredson, Shannon Reed, Dillon Reed, Jeremy O’Harris, Christopher O’Harris, Ian O’Harris; great-grandchildren, Hailey Garner, Carson Garner, Sophie Alfredson, soon-to-arrive granddaughter, Charlie Alfredson; mother of his four children, Barbara O’Harris; brother, Paul O’Harris (Dorothy); cousin, Barbara Allen and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gene O’Harris; sister, Lee Reynolds and his grandparents.
