Rodammer, Delbert C. – of Clio, age 85, died Friday, April 27, 2012 at Brian’s House in Davison. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, April 30, 2012 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Deacon Ray Ellingson officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-9 PM and Monday from 9 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice Care at Brian’s House.
Del was born December 6, 1926 in Flint, Michigan to the late Arthur and Clara (Steiner) Rodammer. He was a World War II, U.S. Navy veteran. Del married Eileen Costello April 14, 1951 in Flint. He was employed at Michigan Bell Telephone for 35 years.
Surviving are: Wife, Eileen; Twin brother: Arthur (Jan) Rodammer of Flint; Son: Randall Rodammer of Cheboygan; Daughters: Lori (Jerry) Roberts of Swartz Creek and Lisa (Greg) Rau of Lake Orion; Grandchildren: Brian McCurdy of Denver, CO., Katie (Chris) Ballard of Rochester, MI., Emily Loomis of Troy, MI., and Stephanie Loomis of Detroit, MI. Great grandchild: Alexis Loiselle of Rochester, MI. Del was also preceded in death by siblings: Lucille Behrendt, Gloria Hunter and Daniel Rodammer.
