MAKIDON, DOUGLAS – of Davison, MI, age 50, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. The family will receive visitors from 4-8 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service. Cremation will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to family.
Doug was born on June 27, 1969 in Flint, MI, the son of Patrick and Donna Makidon. He graduated from Clio High School. Doug worked for Home Depot for many years. He loved golfing and enjoyed his “country club” family. Recently, Doug enjoyed hunting and spending time with friends at deer camp. Above all, he loved being with his wife and children.
Doug is survived by his wife, Paula; 3 children, Travis (Lindsay), Devynn (Nick) and Taylor (Jeremy Gartee); father, Patrick; mother, Donna; in-laws, Roy (Sharon) Connell, Pam Goodyear; siblings, Kinda (Tim) Filarski, Tina (Gary) Watson, Cindy (Doug Lynch) Young, Toni (Phil Bassett) Connell; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
