HADDEN, Shirley M. – Of Fenton, age 84, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Bentley Wesleyan Church, 6150 Lapeer Road, Burton, Pastors Scott Sacrey and Jim Thompson officiating.
Burial in Meadowview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation 11-2 and 5-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Shirley was born in Flint, Michigan on May 5, 1930, the daughter of Wilfrid and Lucina (Gray) Bundy.
On July 8, 1961 she married Daniel J. Hadden in Flint.
She was a member of Bentley Wesleyan Church.
Mrs. Hadden retired as a teacher from Goodrich Area Schools.
Surviving are children, Marie and husband Lonnie Miller of Hartland, Morris and wife Myndi Hadden of Dearborn;
10 grandchildren, Sydni Hadden, Brett Miller, Brytni Hadden, Taryn Miller, Cameron Miller, Jaelynn Miller, Hunter Hadden, Caleb Hadden, Lynzi Hadden and Levi Hadden;
four brothers, David and wife Marilyn Bundy of MI,
George and wife Mary Olive of PA,
Jimmy and wife Martha of NC,
Ramon and wife Verna of FL;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel.
