ECHOLS, Bettye Jo – Of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Saturday, August 3, 2019 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 4-8pm Friday and 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Bettye was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on March 19, 1942, the daughter of Preston and Sybil (Leary) Williams. On July 2, 1960, she married Clinton Echols and he preceded her in death. Bettye enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines and spending time with her family.
Surviving are sons, Brian K. Echols I, Kenneth D. Echols, Sr. and Ricky Echols;
daughters, Sharron Echols and Kimberly Charette;
sisters, Mildred Williams and Geraldine Benman;
brother, Larry Williams;
and grandchildren, Eric Echols, Kenneth Echols Jr., Brian Echols II, Indya Hicks, Lauren Echols, Brittany Echols, Kelli Echols, Kennedy Charette and Hunter Charette.
