ARVOY, Thomas J. of Montrose, age 79, died Monday, August 20, 2012 at Medilodge of Montrose. Cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
Tom was born May 7, 1933 in Durand to the late Joseph and Mary (Drenovsky) Arvoy. He married Rosanna Herrington on January 20, 1968 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Durand. Tom served in the US Army as a Medic from 1953 to 1955. Mr. Arvoy retired from Chevrolet with 35 years seniority. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Maple Grove, UAW Local #659, New Lothrop VFW Post #6579 and the Knights of Columbus Council #1139 of Owosso. He enjoyed golfing, bingo, fishing, hunting and carpentry.
Surviving are: wife, Rosanna; children, Pamela Moughler, Barbara Parks, Dawn Davis, Theresa Arvoy and Mandi Gilbert; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren;
brothers, Floyd, John (Pat), Edward and Walter; sister, Helen Arvoy; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Joseph. Please sign our guest book or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
