Cory Ann Tibbitt of Fife Lake passed away September 29, 2010 from injuries from automobile accident. She was 31. She was born April 16, 1979 in Royal Oak, to Albert Ross and Lillian Sue (Hanes) Tibbitt. She enjoyed riding her dirt bike on the trails and on the track. She also enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, tubing and canoeing on the river, jumping off the bridge with no fear. Cory was very good at taking care of others and a second mother to many.
She was preceded in death by her father Albert Ross Tibbitt.
Cory is survived by her Mother, Lillian Sue Tibbitt, and step father Richard Blaum, both of Fife Lake, grand parent Sue Hanes of Sterling Heights, Ada and Bill Sahlin of Florida, brother Ed Tibbitt, Grandmother, Alma Schillinger, Uncles George, and Earl, cousins, Tommy, Amy, Hailey, Brad, Emily, Sidney, Chris, Carrie, Alex, Ryan. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas Hanes.
Funeral services are 11:00 am Monday October 4, 2010 at the Hitesman–Holdship Funeral Home, Cadillac. Officiating is Pastor Cliff Powell. Visitation is Sunday 2–4 and 6–8pm at the funeral
Home. Memorials May be given to the Clinic at Raynaud’s Phenomenon at Royal Oak William Beaumont Hospital.
