Lucy, Angelina R. of Flint, age 86, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Homewood Village. Funeral Mass will be 12 Noon, Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at All Saints Catholic Church. Fr. Robert Kolenski will officiate. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at Rossell Funeral Home and 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the time of the Mass. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Angelina was born on July 11, 1928, the daughter of Lawrence and Rose (Vallecorsa) Pozzi. She married Arnold Eugene Lucy on November 14, 1953, in Flint. He preceded her in death in 2000. In 1980, she founded Vaga Marketing Research and was very active in the business, until 2009, when she retired and closed her business. Angie was a member of several senior centers in the area and enjoyed activities there. She was also an RSVP volunteer and a member of the Flushing Moose. Angelina loved her family, friends and animals.
She is survived by her daughters, Annette and husband Richard Collick, Gloria and husband Harold Neeley; grandchildren, Michele (Paul) Telehowski, Randy (Nicole) Collick, Kim (Erik) Sweers, Lisa (Aaron) Whitson; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Filomena Tanner; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins and special cousins in Italy and Canada. Angelina was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Valerie Solomon; brother, Joseph Pozzi; and great-granddaughter, Josie. |
