SENKINE, Jennifer Claudette – Of Burton, age 63, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Bruce Gardner
officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Jennifer was born on January 13, 1950 in Guin, Alabama, the daughter of the late Claudie and Evelyn Roberts.
Jennifer graduated from Swartz Creek High School Class of 1968 and received her Associates in Science from Mott Community College.
Jennifer married Leonard Senkine on July 9, 1977 at First Presbyterian Church in Flint.
She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church.
Jennifer enjoyed attending church weekly, watching movies, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
She was a Hostess for many years at several Flint area restaurants.
Surviving are husband, Leonard;
four children, Jimmy Allen Schadenberg,
Lori (Scott) Dagget,
Steve (Crystal) Schadenberg and
Damon Senkine;
13 grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren;
three sisters, Evelyn (Paul) Ryan,
Linda (Colonel)Lake and
Ramona (Connace) Booth;
two brothers, Terry (Ginger) Roberts and Roger Roberts;
two sisters-in-law, Carol (Duane) Phillips and Mary Anne (John) Wakeford;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sister, Olene; brother, Ronald; in-laws, Raymond and wife Marianna Senkine.
