KOTCHER, William Charles - Of Davison, Michigan, age 89, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 6, 2018 with his family at his side.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, June 11, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Road, Grand Blanc, MI.
Visitation 1-7pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI. Mr. Kotcher will be at the church 1pm Monday until the time of the service.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, 345 West Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may consider Faith Lutheran Church of Grand Blanc.
William was born in Saginaw on May 12, 1929 the son of the late Jay and Florence (Kroll) Kotcher. Bill grew up in Saginaw and married Viola Elson on September 17, 1966. He proudly served his country in the National Guard. Bill moved to Davison after his retirement from Saginaw Steering Gear Division GMC, where he was employed for 40 years. Bill initially was Assistant Supervisor of the Experimental Engineering and Procurement Department, and finally in the Purchasing Department. He was a life member of the Masonic Lodge #79, also the Bay City Ancient Scottish Rite and a member of the Elf Khurafeh Shriners, Saginaw, MI. Bill loved outdoor activities, carpentry and traveling. Bill was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Viola,
children, daughter Corrine (Kevin) Walworth of Davison, MI;
son, William (Stephanie) Kotcher of Houston, TX;
four grandsons, Kaden and Kamden Walworth of Davison, MI, William “Nash” and Brody Kotcher of Houston, TX;
two granddaughters, Devan Walworth of Holt and Kyla Walworth of Mt. Pleasant, MI;
brother-in-law, Richard Tamm;
sister-in-law, Eunice Kotcher;
and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was also preceded in death by sister, Colleen Tamm, brothers, Jay (Phyllis) Kotcher and Robert Kotcher.
