WILLIAMS, Paul H., Sr., D.D.S. - age 95, of Linden, formerly of Fenton, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his home, surrounded by family. Dr. Williams was born on January 22, 1923 to the late Dr. Max Milton and Helen Gibson Williams and raised in Royal Oak. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. He was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, class of 1945. Paul practiced dentistry in downtown Fenton for over 60 years. He also served for 25 years as an elected or appointed official for Fenton, including two terms on the Fenton Village Council. Paul's interests were many, including: golfing, reading, crossword puzzles, flying his airplane, scuba diving, visiting both of his vacation homes in Gulf Shores, Alabama and on the Manistee River in Grayling, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. He is the beloved husband of Patricia; dearest father of Craig (Tracy), Paul Jr. (Linda), Todd (Charlene), Brent (Jennifer); step-father of Dale (Nan) Irwin; father-in-law of Diane Williams; proud grandfather of seventeen and great-grandfather of twenty eight; brother-in-law of Georgeana (John) Justice and William (Sandra) Robarge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his son, Scott Williams, daughter, Susan Cmejrek, son-in-law, James Cmejrek, son, Mark Williams; and sister, Maxine Morse. Private services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (Cancer.org) or the Humane Society of Genesee County (geneseehumane.org).
