Speckmann, Eunice A. of Flushing, age 82, died Sunday, November 30, 2014, at her home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be Noon-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Flushing United Methodist Church Endowment Fund or McLaren Hospice.
Eunice was born in Flushing, MI on July 29, 1932, the daughter of Clarence and Edna (Smith) Bentley. She married Jack D. Speckmann in Flushing on December 5, 1953.
Mrs. Speckmann graduated from Flushing High School. She was a member of Flushing United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was an avid bowler and golfer. Eunice was a volunteer for the Genesee Immunization Clinic for many years, and worked for the Flushing elections and school elections. She was also a member of the Flushing Area Senior Citizens and Flushing Historical Society.
Eunice is survived by husband, Jack D. Speckmann of Flushing; two sons, Jack, Jr. and wife Lauri Speckmann of TN, Craig and wife Dawn Speckmann of Fenton; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Wendell Bentley of Flushing; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. |
