Kathleen Louise Burgtorf, age 59 of Flint, passed away on February 28, 2020. She was born on June 19, 1960 in Flint to parents Robert and Margaret (Breese) Burgtorf. Kathy was an avid reader and loved movies. Talking with her friends was her favorite thing to do. She will be lovingly remembered for her ways of encouraging others and for her ability to listen without judgement. Kathy is survived by her sisters: Barb (Dan) Gould and Karen Carr; nephews: Cory and Chris; nieces: Andrea and Alicia; five great nephews; three great nieces; many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by father, Robert; mother, Margaret; brother, David; sister, Sandy; beloved niece, Meghan Carr. In lieu of flowers, please share a story of two – thank you. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 2-5pm at the Burton Senior Center, 3410 S. Grand Traverse St., Burton. |
