Ethel Mae Smelser-Eddy-Fowler, age 93 of Hanes City, FL died October 25, 2011 at the Fostrian Court surrounded by her loving family.
Ethel was born May 5, 1918 in Fostoria. The daughter of the late Henry and Ruth Fowler. She was a past member of the Columbiaville United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing Bingo, Cards, playing the Slots at the Casino, doing crafts, and
helping others.
Ethel is survived by her 5 children: James ( Marie ) Eddy,
Janet Pallmig,
Phyllis Johnson,
Frances ( John ) Krakker,
Grace ( Jack ) Sakash,
Sister in-law Mabel Fowler, numerous grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Erwin Eddy,
2nd husband Charley Smelser and siblings Ernie, Erma, Ed, and grandson Greg.
Funeral Service Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1:00 PM from Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit 10am till time of service.
Priest Bill Sutton officiating. Memorials in memory of Ethel may be made to the Columbiaville United Methodist Church.
