Michael David Cesal
Age 34 of Beaverton passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the New Lothrop Nazarene Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, October 20 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes New Lothrop Chapel.
Michael was born on December 5, 1981 to Jerry and Janet (Birchmeier) Cesal in Owosso. He graduated from New Lothrop High School with the class of 2000. He then earned his Bachelor's degree from Saginaw Valley State University, his Master's degree in Philosophy from Western Michigan University, and his Master's degree in Political Science from Temple University.
Michael was a Professor at Northwood University. His passions in life were philosophy, politics, and teaching. He enjoyed golfing, and he loved his cat, Leap. Mostly, he loved being with his family.
Michael is survived by his father, Jerry; his siblings, Teresa (Joseph) Carr, Tracy (James) Maley, Victoria (Darrell) Campbell, Lawrence Cesal, Jodi Gerry (fiance David Wampfler), John (Melissa) Cesal, and Brenda (Mark) Sharp; his grandmothers, Marion Birchmeier and Blanche Cesal; as well as many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
He is predeceased by his mother, Janet; his grandfathers, Gerald Birchmeier and Gerald Cesal; and his nephew, Cody Cesal.
