WILSON, Elmer – age 77 of Flint, MI passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 11AM-8PM and again on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 12PM-2PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 2PM at Reigle Funeral Home – Sunset Chapel – 5501 W. Pierson Rd. Flushing, MI. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris, MI. Elmer was born on July 10, 1939 in Flint, MI to the late George and Marcie (Smith) Wilson. He served his country in the United States Army. Elmer married Janice Taylor on March 12, 1960 and would have celebrated their 57th year of marriage this year. Elmer worked for Gordon’s Construction for 17 years and retired from Sorensen & Gross Construction Services. He was a member of Teamsters Labor Union and was a Boy Scout leader for many years. He enjoyed living and loving the life up north in Liota, MI. Elmer enjoyed spending time with his family and taking his 3 sons hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Janice Wilson; sons, Terry Lee (Tamra) Wilson, Elmer Wilson Jr., and Michael (Jennifer) Wilson; grandchildren, Cory, Hillery, Kevin, Nikki, Matt, Morgan, Carri, Amanda, Allison, Braeden, and Alexander; great-grandchildren, Audri, Carter, Payton, Jax, Addison, and one on the way; brother, John Robert (Bim) Wilson, and his pal, Ginger. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 siblings, and granddaughter, Rebecca. Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
