Gibbs, James E. - Age 90, of Linden, passed away peacefully July 1, 2019. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial will follow after service at Oakwood Cemetery, in Fenton. Visitation will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Those desiring may make contributions to American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. James was born January 8, 1929 in Flint, Michigan, the son of James and Dorothy Gibbs. James bravely served in the US Army, during the Korean War. He worked at GMC Buick for 39 years. James is survived by his children, Jerl (George) Gallagher, Jamie Gibbs, Lorrie Pascoe, James (Linda) Parker, Stephen (Lori) Parker, Jeffrey (Kim) Parker; sister-in-law, Bev Gibbs; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren.
