KACZOROWSKI, Joy Mae - Age 87, of Fenton, formerly long time resident of Flint, died April 20,2018. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Tuesday, April 24 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2PM-8PM Sunday and 11 AM- 8 PM Monday where a rosary will be prayed at 7PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will also be 10 AM until time of mass at the church on Tuesday. Those desiring make contributions to St. John Catholic Church or Whaley Children's Center.
Joy was born September 12, 1930 in Otter Lake, MI the daughter of Allen and Pauline (Savage) Jones. Joy served as a Counselor for The Flint Public Schools and Positive Action for Youth. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, crafts, playing Bingo and camping. Joy also volunteered for the March of Dimes.
Surviving are her children: Patricia (Cliff) Van Arsdale, David (Inez) Kaczorowski, Carol (Mike) Jones, Robert (Jeanne) Kaczorowski, Rita (Steve) Martinson, and Allen Kaczorowski; 22 Grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren; sister, Mary (Paul) Chesley.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert M.; daughter, Diane Salazar; grandchildren, James Kaczorwski and Richard Brian; and brothers, Harold and Allen Jones. On line tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
