MILLER, Corrine Ann – of Burton, age 78, passed away August 8, 2015. A Funeral Service will be held 11AM Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8PM Tuesday. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday.
Corrine was born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI on May 30, 1937, daughter of the late James E. and Kathleen A. (Belleau) Gordon. She graduated from St. Mary of Flint, class of 1955. Corrine retired from Flint Packaging in 1992 after 22 years of dedicated service. She loved daytime Soap Operas, ice cream anytime, antiques, going for a ride, angels and birdwatching, especially Cardinals. She enjoyed Yard Sales, a good deal, but most of all loved her dogs, Sophie and Piper. Corrine loved spending time with her family, grandkids, always had a listening ear for them with an open door for visitors.
Corrine is survived by her children, Lisa Atkins, Steven (Andrea) Wilkie, Gregory (Carey) Wilkie, Richard (Stacy) Wilkie; grandchildren, Robert, Kyle, Olivia, Ashley, Colton, Landon, Avery; great-granddaughter, Scarlett; sister, Anita Winans; sister-in-law, Sue Gordon; close friend, Pam Crawford; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved four legged companion, Sophie. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sharon Donaldson for always being there for Corrine over the years.
