MOORE, Mr. James Clinton - Age 66, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor James E. Searcy officiating. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, G-5175 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Moore will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 1 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday.
Mr. James Clinton "Sneaky Peek" Moore was born September 3, 1947 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Sylvester and Virgie Moore. He was a resident of Grand Blanc and a graduate of Flint Southwestern High School, “Class of 1965.” James was a former member of New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church. He was employed at General Motors for over 30 years, and was a member of UAW Local #326. His hobbies included traveling, dining, and shopping.
Mr. Moore leaves to cherish his memory: brother, Andre Moore; step-brother, Enrique Rodriguez; 3 nieces Andrina Moore, Briona Moore, and LaShawnda (Alphonzo) Woods; 4 nephews, Otis Eutsy, Darwin Eutsy, Andre Moore II, and Prenston McGhee; 3 aunts, Cloteal Coney, Lolita Bright, and Ester Bright; uncle, Dea. William (Jeanne) Gay; a host of cousins, great nieces, great nephews other relative including special friends, DeWayne Payton, Dale Emery, and Charles Johnson.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by: parents, Sylvester Moore and Virgie Moore; 3 grand parents, Nannie Gay, Bessie Bright, and Eugene Robertson; 2 sisters, Tyanne Moore and Sylvia Moore; 2 aunts, Ludelia Earley, and Myrtle Crowder; and many other uncles, aunts, nephew and cousins.
The family would like to express special thanks to Pastor James E Searcy and Joy Missionary Baptist Church family.
