FOX , Dinia "Dee" Lea - Age 75, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 with her family by her side. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Rd., Burton. Father Steve Anderson celebrant. Visitation will be held 12PM-2PM and 4PM-8PM Friday with a 7PM Beta Sigma Phi memorial service at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Per Dee's wishes cremation will take place following the Mass. Family will also receive friends 10AM until time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to McLaren Hospice. Dee was born July 14, 1944 in Maumee, Ohio and was raised and schooled in Fenton. She was the daughter of Conrad and Zellma (Cornell) Lacey. Dee married William "Bill" Fox on June 4, 1977. She retired from General Motors Metal Fabrication Plant in 2000 with 38 years of service. Dee was a member of U.A.W Local 659. She was also employed at Danny's Restaurant and was a beauty instructor at Mr. Paul's School of Cosmetology. Dee was an active member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She was instrumental in the CCW Women's Group, a member of St. Rita Guild and a member of the Adoration Chapel. Dee enjoyed being a Eucharistic Minister, serving at the Lockwood Senior Living Center. Mrs. Fox was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 30 years. Dee enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends, gardening, monthly lunch with the "Fenton Girls", Bi-monthly Beta meetings and crafts. She also enjoyed antique shopping, going to the casino and fishing. Surviving are: her husband of 42 years William "Bill" Fox of Grand Blanc; daughters, Marge (Bob) Sietman and Marlene (Matt) Cuthbert; step-children, Theresa (Matt) McDonald, Tom (Lori) Fox; Mike Fox and Joe Fox; 12 grandchildren, Robert, Jessie, Bryce (Buddy), Chyna, Mike, Amanda, Hudson, Jessica, Kelsy, Tommie, Brandon, Brianna; 3 great grandchildren, Dee Dee, Lily and Kaeli. She is also survived by her brother in laws, Bob (Nancy) Fox, Dick (Diane) Fox; sister-in-law, Karen Fox and many nieces, nephews and a host of good friends. She was preceded in death by her son, James; grandparents; parents; brother; Roy Lacy; brothers-in-law; Don Fox, Tim Fox. The family would like to thank McLaren Hospice and nurses Andy, Bill, Lisa, Stacy and Lindsay. The family also appreciate the many friends who visited during her illness.
