HALL, Dona ( Leisinger Baxter) - Age 84, of Flushing, died Saturday July 16, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday, July 20,2016 at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, 9252 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Fr. Gene Geromel Celebrant. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Monday and 2PM-8PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held 12PM until time of service on Wednesday at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church. Dona was born January 16, 1932 in Howell, the daughter of the late Don Caranhan and Theresa Caroline (Ulrich) Leisinger. Mrs. Hall married Albert Baxter in March, 1952, he preceded her in death on August 9, 1984. She later married Willard Hall in September, 1985, he also preceded her in death on February 13, 1999. Dona was a life long resident of the Flint area. She was a member of St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, past president and active member in the Woodman of the World Fraternal Society. Dona was a member of the Project Linus Quilt Club and Dye Alumni Association. Mrs. Hall retired from Genesee County with 13 years of service and enjoyed traveling. Surviving are: children, David (Laurel) Baxter of Flint, Leslie (Keith) Wells of Mt. Morris, Catherine (Kevin) McGilvery of Mt. Morris, Carol (Doug) Patridge of Mattawan; grandchildren, John (Lisa) Yats, Ann (Darrin) Hartley, James McGilvery, Lisa (Travis) McCarty, Kyle McGilvery, Amy Patridge, Trevor Patridge, Kate McGilvery, 3 great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Donald Bowman of FL; sister Beverly Stimer of North Branch; half brother Brian (Lana) Leisinger of Brighton; many nieces and nephews and special friend William Fitzpatrick . She was also preceded in death by sisters, Noralee Bowman, Illona Eastridge; brothers Bruce, Dale, Richard Bowman and half brother Warren Leisinger.
