BURGESS, Audrey (Glass) – of St. Helen, MI, age 84, passed away August 23, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday and 10 AM – 1 PM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Thin Blue Line of Michigan.
Audrey was born in Lockport, NY on July 10, 1932, daughter of the late Percy and Winifred (Bloom) Ryan. She married Wayne Burgess on June 26, 1987. Audrey was a 30 year member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and had a great love of nature.
Audrey is survived by her husband of 29 years, Wayne; children, Audrey Baker, Cathy (David) Lakey, Cheryl (Rick) Arbo, Brenda (Jim) Duplanty, Mike Baker, Donald (Marty) Burgess, Connie Faught, John Burgess; grandchildren, Taunia (Matt) Bratton, Nelson (Emily) Lakey, Josh Lakey, Jaron Lakey, Ashley (Jeremy) Milam, Emily (Sara) Arbo, Christopher (Carie) Duplanty, Sarah Duplanty, Jacob Duplanty, Jada Mills, Korrie Faught, Lori Krabel (John Walker), Clinton Malick (Katie); 15 great-grandchildren; 8 siblings; many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Glass; son, Jimmy Glass; granddaughter, Carrie Ann Duplanty and 3 sisters.
