Nancy Carol Pearsall, age 69, of Davison, died Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was born February 25, 1949 in Brown City, to Peter and Donna (Dunlap) Krakker.
Nancy graduated in 1967 from Lapeer High School and married Clyde Pearsall on February 15, 1969, at Grace Episcopal Church in Lapeer. She was a devoted and active, lifetime member of Grace Episcopal Church, a member of the Episcopal Church Woman’s Group and a “Holy Roller” for the Annual Grace Episcopal Church Eggroll Sale. Mrs. Pearsall received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and worked many years in the General Motors Employment Office. Early in her career she worked for Harry Hill Real Estate and King-Michaelson Insurance Agency in Lapeer. Nancy was loving, caring wife and mother to her daughters…taking care of Kimberly at home until her death. Mrs. Pearsall was a talented seamstress and spent hours making fleece blankets to distribute to children, she donated 100’s of blankets to the Hurley Children’s Hospital and Weiss Children Advocacy Center in Flint. She was active in numerous COPD support groups and the McLaren Pulmonary Rehab Support/Exercise Group.
Nancy is survived by her husband: Clyde Pearsall of Davison; daughter: Katheryn Pearsall; sister: Dawn Nass of Lapeer; brother-in-law: Gary Nelson of Lapeer; and several nieces and nephews including: Mike Nass of Lapeer and Tim (Anne) Nass of Lapeer. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Kimberly Pearsall; parents: Peter and Donna Krakker; and sister: Debra Nelson.
Mrs. Pearsall’s funeral service will be 11AM Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Grace Episcopal Church in Lapeer. Visitation will be 4-8PM Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer and 10-11AM Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the church. The Rev. Sarah Parks will officiate the service, with burial to follow immediately in Davison Twp. Cemetery.
