LODER, Judith Gail (Light), of Flint, age 76, died Friday, August 1, 2014 at Regency at Grand Blanc. A memorial service will be held at 2PM Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Pastor Timothy Hicks, Sr. officiating. Visitation 12pm Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Judy was born in Flint on February 9th, 1938, daughter of the late Spencer and Ruth Light. She married Robert “Pete” Loder on May 18th, 1957. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed crafting such as quilting and tole painting as a hobby. Judy is survived by her husband “Pete”, daughters Lesa (Dave) Bourne, Cynthia (John) Martin, son Robert Loder, grandchildren Eric, Michael and Daniel and great grandchild Griffin, twin brother Gerald (Sandra) Light, special friend to the family Rose Derr, many nieces and nephews and thoughtful neighbors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Regency at Grand Blanc for all of their care and support. Judy was a great source of support for many and will be greatly missed by all that she touched – “Don’t forget we love you”.
