PAKNEY, Jean Joyce (McCarron) - Of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017.
Funeral service will be held 3pm Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Paul Ytterock officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Autism Society.
Visitation 4-7pm Friday and 12 Noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jean was born in Flint on February 25, 1928, the daughter of the late Peter and Inez (Mauer) McCarron. She worked at General Motors for 36 years and 17 years at Gerholz Counseling Center, retiring at the age of 80.
Surviving are daughter, Carol;
grandchildren, Kassie, Aron (Amy), Christopher (Erin), Jennifer (Darrick);
great-grandchildren, Joseph, Cheyenne, Hannah, Elias, Abbygail, Gunner and Emmalynne;
11 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews, 41 great-great nieces and nephews and 23 great-great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patti, son, Robert, and nieces, Margaret and Brenda.
