NEWBOLD, Ethel M. – age 92, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 27, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Pastor Bob Cattane officiating. Interment at Arcadia Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday 10 to 11 a.m. Ethel was born on November 1, 1922 in Lum, Michigan. She was united in marriage on February 8, 1941 to Robert Earl Newbold. Ethel is known for her unwavering faith and love for the Lord. She demonstrated her faith through prayer and giving to others. Ethel loved everyone and everyone that knew her loved her. She is survived by: children, Ruthann (husband Milo) Leach, Paul Newbold, and Dan (wife Lori) Newbold; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother, James Irons; along with many other dear friends and relatives. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and William Irons; husband, Robert; sons, Ronnie and Leslie Dale; daughter, Roberta Tuttle (Jackson); daughter-in-law, Barbara (husband Paul); and eight brothers and sisters.
