HARTLEY, Floyd Dale "Pete" - Age 93, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday November 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Jeff Jaggers officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of service Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice, Fenton United Methodist Church Building Fund or Charity of Choice.
Pete was born February 6, 1926 in Flint, the son of Floyd and Royal (Pike) Hartley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Pete married Marjorie Lawson on August 1, 1948. He retired from GM Metal Fab. He had a passion for collecting and enjoyed it his entire life and sharing his collectables with people.
Surviving are: his beloved wife of 71 years, Marjorie; 2 sons, Robert (Glenda) Hartley of Fenton, William (Carol) Hartley of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Tracee (Holly) Senter, Nicholas (Amy) Hartley; several step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, John "Jack" sisters, Margaret Pitman, Carol Boyer, June Atkinson. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
