Pettigrew, Nina B. (Gresham) – of Flint, age 91, died Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Crestmont HealthCare Center. A visitation will be held at Swartz Funeral Home, Saturday, February 14, 2015, from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. A funeral/burial service will be held at Cardwell Cemetery in Cardwell, Missouri, on June 13, 2015. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Nina was born in Marmaduke, Arkansas, on February 1, 1924, the daughter of George and Laura (Phelps) Gresham. After retiring from General Motors, she pursued her hobbies of gardening, quilting, cooking, and volunteer work done for the underprivileged through her church. She loved spending a lot of time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nina was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ for many years and loved the fellowship she shared with the members. Surviving are children Karen (Jerry) Beebe of Grand Blanc, Mark (Lynne) Pettigrew of Flint, and Greg Pettigrew of Arlington, Texas; six grandchildren – Melissa Sain, Kristin (Kirk) Neibert, Jeffrey (Kristin) Beebe, Joe (Heidi) Pettigrew, Cierra and Olivia Pettigrew; eight great-grandchildren, Jake and Jonah Sain, Ripken and Riley Neibert, Samuel Beebe, John Mark and Stephen Pettigrew, and Autumn Pettigrew; brother – J.D. Gresham, Arlington, Texas, and sister – Iva Lee Kolk, Jacksonville Arkansas; special friend Glenn Pettigrew.
