James “Tree” Edward Spencer, Sr., age 48, of Davenport, Florida passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019. He was born on July 24, 1970 in Detroit, Michigan.
“Tree” worked as a construction laborer at Amalio Construction, where he retired in 2018. “Tree” was a hard-worker, dedicated father, and loyal husband. He loved watching sports, loved to Bar-B-que, he was well known as "the man" on the grill, spending time with the family and joking around.
His love and memories will be cherished by his loving wife of 22 years, Precious; daughters, Patricia, Jamela, and Precious “JC”; sons, Darrick and James, III; granddaughters, Jakiylah, and Zyonna; grandson, Dajuan; brothers, Pabst Beavers, Martez Spencer and Keith Spencer; sisters, Lucky Beavers, and Winnie Beavers.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Spencer and Joyce Beavers.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank Michelle, RN at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center, Junior Davis Construction Crew, and St. Cloud Paramedics for their love, support and kindness during this difficult time.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1805 Lapeer Road, Flint , Michigan 48503.
