Karen Lee Lake, age 60 0f Hale, MI, formerly of Morrice, MI passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at her home. She was born on December 22, 1959 in Owosso, MI to Virgil & Leona (Smith) Hankinson.
Karen enjoyed making crafts, crocheting, and playing with her animals. She loved being with her children and grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her children; twins; Leslie (Daniel) Godfrey of Perry, MI, Lori (Chris King) Nanasy of Norway, MI, Liza (Rocky)Diamond of Corruna, MI; step-father, Joseph Nanasy of Morrice, MI; grandchildren, Danny, Kayla, Noah, Robbie, Laura, Ethan; brother, Vern (Sonya) Hankinson of Holt, MI; sister, Lisa Turner of Hale, MI; aunt, Linda Hankinson-Strachan of Morrice, MI ; sister-in-law, Theresa Nanasy of Lansing, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bruce Nanasy.
